Indian Railways has announced the seventh Vande Bharat express, which would be launched on December 30 from Howrah station west bengal. Information on the first semi-high-speed passenger train service in Bengal, including its schedule, stops, and days of operation.
The Vande Bharat , which travels from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri, is an ultra-modern train with 16 cars, two of which are reserved for the train’s drivers. There are two first-class coaches on this train, with regular chair cars making up the rest. Each chair car has 78 seats and two rows with the specialized tables.
It takes the train 7 hours and 30 minutes to make the trip. Except for every Wednesday, the Vande Bharat Express operates six days a week.
Prime Minister was supposed to start the Vande Bharat in Kolkata, but when his mother died, he had to miss the event. Instead, he watched it on TV. Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, was sad about the death of PM Modi’s mother and thanked him for “virtually” launching the Vande Bharat train in Kolkata earlier today.
Vande Bharat Express train: Features
The Vande Bharat train has automatic doors, an audio-visual passenger information system based on GPS, Wi-Fi hotspots on board for entertainment, and comfortable seats.
There are many safety features on Vande Bharat Trains, like the Kavach technology. The Kavach system will help stop accidents like trains running into each other on rail tracks. All of the seats on these trains can be reclined, and the seats in the Executive Coaches can also turn 180 degrees.
